Jason Chen, D.O., IFMPC
Executive/Medical Director

Dr. Jason Chen joined Christ Clinic as its Medical Director in August of 2025, where he leads the volunteer team of physicians, medical providers, nurses, and technicians in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients. He is committed to advancing Christ Clinic’s mission of creating healthier futures for all by integrating medical excellence with a heart for service.

With over 13 years of experience as an integrative primary care physician certified in Family and Functional Medicine, Dr. Chen brings additional subspecialty training in precision, functional, and aesthetic medicine. He is passionate about holistic patient care, medical education, and clinical research, and he looks forward to further strengthening Christ Clinic’s role as a trusted resource in the Northern Colorado community and beyond.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with his family, crosstraining, volunteering with the American Red Cross Disaster Health Services team, and exploring the outdoors with friends. He is also active in discipleship training and shares his passion for integrative, functional, and preventive medicine through writing, teaching, and clinical practice. Dedicated to mentoring future healthcare leaders, he strives to carry forward the promise of medicine—bringing healing to the world, one patient at a time.

Alma Alvarado-Cabrera
Director of Operations

Alma Alvarado-Cabrera joined the Christ Clinic team in 2024 through Adelante, a summer fellowship that places young adults from historically marginalized communities with organizations and business host sites throughout the community. Her passion for providing care to the community led her to continue serving at Christ Clinic beyond her internship, and she now serves as Director of Operations, overseeing day-to-day clinic operations, volunteer coordination, and program support to help ensure high-quality, compassionate care for patients.

As a bilingual team member, Alma provides Spanish interpretation and helps bridge communication between patients, providers, and volunteers. While working in both the office and clinic, she is pursuing a future career in healthcare, either as a physician assistant or in healthcare management. Outside the clinic, Alma enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, working out, and participating in the performing arts.
